Let’s discuss the women of the Marvel films. They are smart. I don’t have to add the beautiful part, even though they are that too. But they’re smart and they’re fighters.
Yes, they’ve had to prove themselves but they never do it with their sexuality. Sexuality rarely comes in to the factor unless you work with Tony Stark. (And isn’t that just a lawsuit waiting to happen).
I like these women and I like what the represent. Not bad for some fictional role models.
(Also before you argue that they’re fodder for the main male characters, one is the CEO of a major coporation, two are doctors in science fields, one is a master assassin, one is an Asgardian warrior, one fought in World War 2, and the other tasered the God of Thunder while earning her undergrad. You’re argument is invalid)
Great girls, but some people INSIST there aren’t any powerful and confident women on comic books fiction. There you go, a pack of awesome characters, and thank God, they’re all women that really inspire me. ♥
